How does Mobile Deposit work?
Mobile Deposit requires a smart phone and the use of the Federal Savings Bank Mobile App. Once you have signed into to Mobile Banking you will select the deposits icon that appears on your screen. From there you will key in the amount of the deposit, take a photo of the front and back of the check and submit. Within seconds of uploading the transaction you will receive a confirmation that the deposit was received successfully.
What types of checks can be deposited through Mobile Deposit?
We can accept checks payable to you or to you and another account owner drawn on a U.S. bank. We can’t accept checks payable to a non-account owner, traveler cheques, foreign checks, substitute checks, savings bonds, returned checks, posted dated checks, state dated checks, or checks with poor image quality.
When will deposits be credited to my account?
Deposits received before 5:00 pm ET on a business* day will be considered to be deposited that same day. Deposits received after 5:00 pm ET or on a weekend or holiday will be considered as deposited the next business* day. Please note: All deposits are subject to verification and can be adjusted upon review.
Can I deposit a check for any amount?
You can deposit up to $2,500 per business* day for an established account. Accounts opened for less than 60 days will have a $1,000 per business* day limit. (If the account has had no overdraft activity for the first 60 days of account opening the limit will automatically be increased to $2,500). Deposits made after 5:00 pm ET on Friday, over the weekend or on a holiday are combined with the deposits for the next business day and limited to the $2,500 daily limit.
Mobile Deposit is available through our Mobile Banking App. The mobile deposit feature allows you to make a check deposit via Mobile Banking, by photographing the front and back of the check with your iPhone or Android mobile phone and submitting that image for deposit to your account.
Note. This feature is available via the downloadable app channel only and is for your iPhone or Android device.
If you are an existing customer you can deposit up to $2,500 per business* day. For new customers, you can deposit up to $1,000 per business* day for the first 60 days of the account opening. If the account is in good standing (no overdrafts) after the 60 days, we will automatically increase your daily limit to $2,500.
Deposits received before 5:00 pm ET on a business day are reviewed by a member of the Federal Savings Bank eBanking staff and credited to your account during our nightly processing. (Deposits received after 5:00 pm ET on a business day, over the weekend or on a holiday are considered to be deposited the next business* day.)
*Business Day - A business day is any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or federally declared holiday

View Deposit History
The history reflects the status of the check capture, not the posting of the check to your account. Check images captured on your mobile device are available for 45 days.
If you try to access check images from your deposit history after more than 45 days, you will receive an error.
For various reasons, a check can be rejected after it was "accepted" by the mobile deposit system. You must check your account history to confirmt he check deposit was posted.
Deposits can fail real time as the deposit is submitted or they can fail during processing.
If an error is encountered that causes the item to fail during submission, you will be notified of the error immediately and may be given the option to retake the image.
This image is an example of a failed deposit during submission.
Note. If we reject a deposit we will send a follow up email to you advising you that the deposit was rejected, the reason why, and how you should proceed.

Federal Savings Bank employees volunteer every year to participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Walk. Over the last few years, FSB employees have raised over $15,000 for the American Cancer Society.
For over 10 years, Federal Savings Bank has participated in the United Way's Day of Caring. A group of FSB employees volunteer to help work at a deserving non-profit organization for a day. Here, a group of FSB employees help do yard work at a youth camp in Strafford.
Each year, Federal Savings Bank employees volunteer to produce an internal campaign to raise funds for the United Way. The staff picks a theme, prepares a breakfast and holds several fundraising activities throughout the year.
Federal Savings Bank partners with Seacoast Media Group and The United Way to produce the annual Spirit of the Seacoast awards. Federal Savings Bank employees serve on the committee that selects deserving volunteers in the community to receive special recognition. FSB grants each recipient a $500 grant to donate to a non-profit organization. To date, FSB has donated over $12,000 to the Spirit of the Seacoast program.
